A bit of backstory…
The Take Two Community Workspace Fund provides grants for youth across Canada to start or expand a workspace in their community to further local sustainability and environmental justice.
The Fund was born from Operation Take Two, a project our team started in 2017 when we were kids in high school anxious about climate change and wanting to do something in our community. That something ended up being the creation of a plastic recycling workspace in a repurposed shipping container at our high school.
Wanting to take the project to the next level, we pitched on the set of Dragons’ Den in 2019 seeking funds to expand our current workspace and help youth in new communities start their own workspaces. Thanks to funding from the Dragons and the Desjardins GoodSpark program, the Take Two Fund was born!

New & emerging projects (less than 1 year old)
Projects led by and/or impacting equity-deserving communities, including:
Black, Indigenous, & racialized peoples
Queer & trans folks (2SLGBTQIAP+)
